This tawny Port, aged in oak barrels, displays a golden-brown colour and reveals aromas of wood, dried fruits and spice. On the palate, it is silky and velvety, showing roundness and an intense presence of fruit. A wine of great balance and excellent character.
It pairs beautifully with a wide variety of desserts where caramel, coffee, apricot or dried fruits predominate. It is also wonderful with caramelised nuts, tiramisu, hazelnut meringue tart, soft cheeses such as Brie, and egg-based desserts.
