Discover a rare black tea, grown in the heart of the Atlantic at Europe’s only tea plantation: Gorreana, set high on the green hills of São Miguel Island, in the Azores.
Known for its preserved cultivation between ocean mists and exotic flora, this tea develops a singular flavor—impossible to reproduce elsewhere. Each leaf concentrates the purity of a truly unique terroir.
Rich in caffeine, intense yet never bitter, it delivers a round, aromatic, perfectly balanced cup. A sensory experience that turns breakfast into a real moment of pleasure.

More informations?
The Gorreana tea plantation is located on the northern slope of São Miguel Island, the largest island in the Azores, right in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Along with its neighbor Porto Formoso, it is the only tea plantation in Europe.
Tea has existed wild in the Azores since the 18th century, but cultivation only began in 1874. The Gorreana plantation that produces this green tea is therefore over 100 years old, yet it produces only 40 tons of tea per year—compared to an average of 2,500 tons per plantation in Asia.
